KALEVANKADUN APPROT IN ENGLISH
Kalevankadun Approt will be celebrated on the 18th of September, 2024!
At Kalevankadun Approt you visit local bars and restaurants, collecting stamps for the Approt pass. When you have collected stamps, you will receive an overall patch. And of course there will be afterparty!
The partners guarantee separate drink and food offers for participants who have the Approt pass, so the tour will be super fun and student-friendly!

Kalevankadun Approt's official stamp locations
The stamp locations offer amazing offers and stamps to your passes between 17.00-23.00 for all Approt-pass owners. From one location you can get one stamp from buying food and one stamp from buying a drink, so in maximum you can get 2 stamps / per location / per pass. You will receive one stamp in your pass from partner locations when making a purchase, visiting the location, or completing tasks, depending on the place.

RULES AND DEGREES
At the event, you will receive a stamp for a drink (including non-alcoholic) or food.
2. You can get one stamp for food and one stamp for a drink from each location, so a maximum of two stamps per location.
3. Degrees must be completed in order, and you can only complete one degree with a single pass!
Example: If you want to achieve the Laudatur degree immediately and you don't have any previous degree badge, you will need a total of 3 passes. You must collect the required number of stamps for each degree on each pass.
6 stamps on the 1st pass for the Approbatur degree
8 stamps on the 2nd pass for the Cum Laude degree
10 stamps on the 3rd pass for the Laudatur degree.
Once you have collected the correct number of stamps on all three passes, you will receive the degree badges for each pass.
Example: If you already have the Laudatur degree and want to complete the next two degrees at once (Tohtori and Emeritus degrees), you will need a total of 2 passes.
12 stamps on the 1st pass for the Tohtori degree
13 stamps on the 2nd pass for the Emeritus degree.
Once you have collected the correct number of stamps on both passes, you will receive the degree badges for each pass.
4. The previous degree badge must be presented at the degree badge distribution point if you wish to receive a higher degree badge. If you do not have the previous degree badge with you, you will receive an Approbatur badge.
5. At Kalevankadun Approt, only the degree badges specific to Kalevankadun Approt are accepted.
6. Laws and general regulations must be followed. Foolish behavior is at your own risk!

PRE-PARTY - SEINÄJOKI CENTRAL SQUARE
The popular and super fun Approt Duck returns for the pre-party! You can ride the Rodeo Duck even after the pre-party until 8:00 PM. This year, a winner will be drawn from the top ten times, and the prize will be a cabin on the TRIANGELI CRUISE! The prize is provided by the Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences Student Union, SAMO.
Face painting and tote bag painting are available. You can paint a tote bag you’ve already bought or purchase an Approt bag from the patch sales booth at the square.
At the pre-party, you can also make your own badge, perhaps to decorate your overalls. Badges are available for the first 100 participants.
As usual, you can find the Approt Director at the pre-party! Take a photo with the director, share it on your Instagram story, and tag @kalevankadunapprot. Those who take a photo will be entered into a raffle to win an evening at Tornisauna.
APPROT TOUR
Stamp collection at the official stamp locations begins at 5:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM.
You can collect stamps at all the official stamp locations of Kalevankadun Approt. The stamp locations are listed in your passport, as well as on the website with more detailed information.
Note: You can already get a stamp from Café Tsumpi during the day!
CHECKPOINTS
Seinäjoki Central Square:
Drawing checkpoint - Have you always wanted to draw a picture of your friend? Now’s your chance to try your drawing skills! You can keep your drawing or give it to a friend as a keepsake.
Wanhamestari:
Karaoke checkpoint - If you feel like singing during the tour and still need more stamps for your passport, it’s time to head to the karaoke checkpoint!
Kultainen Kulaus:
Drink Station – At this checkpoint, you can test your drink-making skills. Remember to buy a product at the counter and let them know you're participating in the challenge!
AFTER-PARTY - OMASp STADIUM
The after-party will take place at OmaSp Stadium, featuring a performance by the amazing Sara Bee! You can watch the show from the top floor of the stadium.
The after-party will also have a DJ and karaoke in their own spaces.
At the 2nd-floor open terrace Snack Bar, snacks will be available until the early hours.
Tickets for the after-party will still be available at the door (9€) starting at 11:00 PM. Those with passports can enter the after-party from 10:00 PM onwards.

APPROT-TRAIN & BUSS
By tradition the Approt-train will be transporting all the approt-goers to any spots that are further away than others. This year, the London bus will accompany the train. If you have an Appro-pass (After-party version or the one without) you can get on the train for free!
Approt-train and the London bus will also take you to after-parties throughout the evening. If you don’t have a pass, the train ride will cost 2€/trip.
